Overview
Llyn Brenig, near Denbigh in North Wales, is a hub for outdoor activities, wildlife and wellbeing located between the popular tourism centres of Snowdonia and Conwy. Things to do include watersports like paddleboarding, kayaking (hire or self-launch), recreational boats and open-water swimming in summer plus bike hire, sauna and cold water dipping all year round.
For anglers, there’s world-class fishing in the clear cold waters of Llyn Brenig, Llyn Alwen and Llyn Aled.
Our walking and cycling trails offer opportunities to immerse yourself in nature across 2500 acres of forest, moorland and lakes amid stunning upland scenery.
You’ll get a warm welcome in our visitor centre with café, gift shop, fishing shop and osprey exhibition.
And of course, Llyn Brenig is a summer breeding home of ospreys with numerous opportunities to catch sight of these magnificent birds from a manned dedicated lookout, photography hide or even at home via webcam.
